<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>In November 2017, the Kidney Disease: Improving Global Outcomes (KDIGO) initiative brought a diverse panel of experts in glomerular diseases together to discuss the 2012 KDIGO glomerulonephritis guideline in the context of new developments and insights that had occurred over the years since its publication. During this KDIGO Controversies Conference on Glomerular Diseases, the group examined data on disease pathogenesis, biomarkers, and treatments to identify areas of consensus and areas of controversy. This report summarizes the discussions on primary podocytopathies, lupus nephritis, anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody-associated nephritis, complement mediated kidney diseases, and monoclonal gammopathies of renal significance.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>АНЦА-ассоциированный васкулит</kwd><kwd>С3-гломерулопатия</kwd><kwd>фокально-сегментальный громелуроскле-роз</kwd><kwd>KDIGO</kwd><kwd>волчаночный нефрит</kwd><kwd>мембранопролиферативный гломерулонефрит</kwd><kwd>болезнь минимальных изменений</kwd><kwd>моноклональная гаммапатия ренального значения</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody-associated vasculitis</kwd><kwd>C3-glomerulopathy</kwd><kwd>focal and segmental glomerulosclerosis</kwd><kwd>KDIGO</kwd><kwd>lupus nephritis</kwd><kwd>membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis</kwd><kwd>minimal change disease</kwd><kwd>monoclonal gam-mopathies of renal significance</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><funding-statement xml:lang="ru">Спонсором конференции является KDIGO, и частично финансирование осуществлено за счет образовательных грантов следующих компаний: Achillion, Aurinia Pharmaceuticals, Calliditas Therapeutics, ChemoCen-tryx, Chugai, Expedition Therapeutics, Gilead, Goldfinch Bio, Kyowa Kirin, Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, Novartis, Omeros, Sanofi Genzyme, and Vifor Fresenius Medical Care Renal Pharma</funding-statement><funding-statement xml:lang="en">The conference was sponsored by KDIGO and supported in part by unrestricted educational grants from Achil-lion, Aurinia Pharmaceuticals, Calliditas Therapeutics, ChemoCen-tryx, Chugai, Expedition Therapeutics, Gilead, Goldfinch Bio, Kyowa Kirin, Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, Novartis, Omeros, Sanofi Genzyme, and Vifor Fresenius Medical Care Renal Pharma</funding-statement></funding-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Kidney Disease: Improving Global Outcomes (KDIGO) Glomerulonephritis Work Group.
