<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Succinate is hypoxic stress signal metabolite. Entering the patient’s body from the dialysate during hemodialysis, succinate inhibits prolylhydroxylases, leading to stabilization of hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF) and to the deployment of many HIF-mediated effects. Application of succinate-containing dialysis solutions can be considered as pseudohypoxic preconditioning, which provides the beneficial effect on several clinical and biochemical parameters of patients. </p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>сукцинат</kwd><kwd>гемодиализ</kwd><kwd>сукцинатсодержащий диализирующий раствор</kwd><kwd>фактор</kwd><kwd>индуцируемый гипоксией (HIF).</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>succinate</kwd><kwd>hemodialysis</kwd><kwd>succinate-containing dialysate</kwd><kwd>hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF).</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Cмирнов АВ, Нестерова ОБ, Голубев РВ и др.
