The Nephrology (Saint-Petersburg) Journal publishes manuscripts on topical issues of clinical and experimental nephrology and related areas (physiology and pathology of water saline homeostasis, kidney conditions in other diseases, etc.). In addition, each issue presents a section “Journal within a Journal”, which publishes reports on topical problems of urology and geriatric nephrology.
Beginning with the first issue, the works of leading foreign and domestic nephrologists have been regularly published on the Journal’s pages. Since devoted to a development strategy for nephrological science and describing the main nephrological research directions, these works are, as a rule, written in the comprehensive manner. On the pages of the Journal the notable works of B.M. Brenner, S. Massry, A. Cohen, J. Shanar, E.
