Abstract
In recent decades, urinary tract infections (UTIs) have become a leading cause of bacterial infections, posing a threat to human life and health. Chronic pyelonephritis, in particular, is the leading cause of chronic kidney disease.Given the multifactorial pathogenesis of chronic pyelonephritis (CPN), a multidisciplinary approach is crucial in the treatment of this disease. This justifies the need to determine the antimicrobial efficacy of new generations of antibacterial and immunomodulatory drugs, including lyophilized E. coli bacterial lysate, aimed at preventing the progression of CPN and achieving long-term disease remission.
